Adam Coffman
As a new trainer at “No Limits Personal Training” Adam Coffman comes with a wealth of athletic and training experience. He has trained as a competitive athlete for the last 20 years and trained high school and collegiate athletes for the last thirteen. Adam’s passion is to help others achieve their goals. In order to facilitate this he obtained a Masters Degree in Exercise Science from East Stroudsburg University. He is currently working on his doctorate in Educational Leadership.
As an athlete he trained and competed as a collegiate swimmer becoming a 3-time PSAC Conference champion while attending Clarion University. After graduating, he turned his attention to Triathlon where he consistently finishes in the top 5% overall and 1% in his age-group. In the 2002 Florida Ironman Adam finished third out of the water in a field of over 2000 competitors. He continues to train as a triathlete and plans to compete in the upcoming season. Adam also holds a second degree black belt in Isshin-Ryu Karate Do.
Adam’s coaching background includes 8 record breaking seasons at East Stroudsburg South as the Head Swimming coach. His teams continue to improve and his scientific approach to training has led to startling improvements in personal performances. Additionally, Adam coached four years at East Stroudsburg University as the Assistant Women’s Swimming Coach. While at ESU the team broke several school records and made substantial gains.
Although Adam has had the fortune to compete at very high levels his greatest joys and sense of achievement stems from his ability to help others improve their quality of life. Whether it is as a teacher, coach or personal trainer he always strives to maximize each person’s potential that he has the opportunity to work with.
